‘The Wild Side of Eden’ is the second PINT+BLISTER single release of 2020, following April’s ‘Dysthymia’. ‘Wild Side’ is a melancholic love song that takes inspiration from Johnny Marr, Manic Street Preachers and early Suede. It offers a different side to the band, giving a nod to the members’ early indie/alternative influences, as well as current post-punk bands such as Fontaines D.C. and The Murder Capital. Lyrically, the song is open to interpretation within the areas of unrequited love and the feeling that you aren’t good enough for someone, or anyone at all.
‘The Wild Side of Eden’ is another one of the band’s oldest songs, a set staple that always gets a positive reaction, and offers yet another side to their song writing and musicianship. ‘Wild Side’ also presents a further development in the studio, as it was recorded by the band themselves in their ‘BED+SHED Studios’.
‘The Wild Side of Eden’ is now available to stream and download on all major platforms!
