‘Time Flies’ is the brand new single from German alt rockers Andy Rocks! I’m thrilled to announce the release of this single. ‘Time Flies’ combines vocalist Andrea’s artwork (which features as the single’s artwork) with their music. This combination of art mediums adds an extra layer of creativity to this release. The visual representation of their music through the artwork also allows Andrea’s vision to come to life.

The story behind ‘Time Flies’:

“Time flies is a very special song and not one you would expect at once from a rock band. It cannot be put into one specific genre of music. This song for me is rather like an abstract painting (like the artwork). It describes a certain state of mind in a specific moment, like in a dream or lost in thought. The basic song was actually written in 10 minutes, but it took a while to find the right arrangement to underline the kind of atmosphere or mood it needed. It deals with time itself as something you cannot grasp and the individual awareness of feeling it pass”. – Andrea

This release follows their debut EP, ‘Porcelain Heart’, which landed earlier this year – in April 2019. The three track EP shows the diversity within their sound, whilst this new single sees a different style of songwriting and creativity from Andy Rocks.
