I posted this question across Deviate PR’s social media channels. Here are some of your opinions:

I’ve given up taking photos at gigs because they’re never that good and don’t add anything to my memory of the occasion. My exception is photos with friends.

Bands should ban them and then allow you to get them out at the end for when they take a bow. The odd pic here and there is fine but can’t stand people that will hold their phones for the entire gig. I can’t hold my phone up longer then about 20 secs even if I wanted to, knowing that I was obstructing someones view.

I’m in the middle. I personally don’t do it, unless it’s a song I like. You don’t enjoy the moment or concert via your phone.
