Angry Machine is the brand new single from Chester based trio, Pint + Blister. With a ‘no nonsense rock n’ roll attitude’, Pint + Blister are making a strong name for themselves in the local music scene. The trio have a number of performances already under their belts with further shows booked around the North West for Autumn 2019.
Angry Machine is a strong release which provides a taste of Pint + Blister’s dynamic sound at this early stage in their career. The energetic track brings together punk influences through the vocal style, and the fast-paced energy of the track. The distorted guitar tone and bass bring some heaviness to the track creating a powerful sound. The trio are ‘inspired by the spirit of 1976 and the dissatisfaction of modern music and life in general’. The rebellious spirit of the 70s punk scene is encapsulated in their music with a modern edge. The inclusion of laughter and spoken phrases introduces a theatrical element to the track, whilst the outro rhythm section adds a very rock n’ roll feel to the music.
Pint + Blister have a produced a great single – it provides an insight into their personality as a band. Their ability to include so many genre and style influences in track, which is only just over two minutes long, and produce a cohesive and dramatic result is fantastic. They clearly have a talent for songwriting and are already establishing their own unique sound.
Angry Machine is available now on all major streaming platforms.
