Battl Victory Records is a young international independent label which prides itself in being able to support their clients’ individual needs. The company has Swiss roots with its headquarters currently based in Bavaria, and is a Member of the Union of German Musicians. The label was founded in 2015 by Daniel “Battl” Sejpka and 2019 sees the company celebrate its fourth birthday. Battl Victory Records specialises in rock and electronic music but is open to all genres. Battl Victory Records has taken a huge step in its evolution having recently expanded to include a location in the USA.

Why did I open my label?

“Music has always fascinated me. It’s versatile and you can work together around the world, especially in the modern age of the internet. Music thus connects across borders. It does not matter what skin color you have, what passion, what gender, what religion. It makes the world grow together. Likewise, music helps us to overcome sadness and grief, makes us happy and lets us reminisce. Music therapy. I’ve always been interested in the lesser known artists, as they make up 99% of the entire music market. There is so much talent and so much energy here. Here I just wanted to help the musicians to get heard” – Daniel “Battl” Sejpka.

Battl Victory Records, as an independent label, prides itself on providing fair contracts to its artists to help them grow. Offering services in management, marketing, publishing and labelling, Battl Victory Records can provide everything an artist requires for their release. Working with artists all around the globe, the record label’s clients include Kentucky rap rockers Boombox Poets and Spanish electro-pop artist Daniela Corvea. A number of clients have recently won awards for their releases with Battl Victory Records. The album The Winners In This Life, from Russian rock band Polygon, was awarded the best alternative album 2019 from the ISSA. Their track from the album, also titled The Winners In This Life, was awarded best alternative song 2019 by WSA. Rock band Dr Nick, hailing from Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, received a Gold award for their album Circular Trance. Additionally, artist Herr Schmidt was given a Gold award for his single Wir Zwei.

The latest venture for Battl Victory Records has seen the launch of their US location:

“The step to found my record company in America, I have taken early. I want to be close to our artists and their fans. Of course, ours too. The Seattle location was chosen for its history and proximity to Canada. Of course, this also has economic reasons; even if the music business now works globally does not do the economy, unfortunately. America has always had a meaningful place in my heart. The people and the country itself are just amazing. I fly as often as I can to the States. The same goes for Canada and its inhabitants. But I can already say one thing. There will be more locations – the earlier the better. If anyone is interested in founding a new location, they are welcome to contact us.” – Daniel “Battl” Sejpka.
