‘Dagon’ is the second single from the Swedish melodic death metal act Curse of Eibon. The new single delivers guttural vocals, heavily distorted guitars and a haunting dark atmosphere – what more could you want!

The melodic death outfit already have a strong sound early in their career. It’s clear that they have a direction in mind of where to take their music. The instrumentation of ‘Dagon’ is dynamic throughout and the presence of orchestral instrumentation, along with a haunting choir, enhances the mood of the single. The chorus has a dark Gothic quality with the addition of a soaring string melody which creates a powerful contradiction to the heavier instrumentation. The atmospheric sound effects also fill out the music adding an extra touch of theatrics to the track.
