Anime Metalcore Project Iyashicore Unveils ‘Protector//Vector'
'Protector//Vector' is the first single to land from the emotive, intense and sonically dynamic debut album GURASHI! from the anime-inspired metalcore project iyashicore. 'Protector//Vector' is written about the character Kurumi, and lands today on the May 23rd - a date which marks the 13th anniversary of the manga's release. GURASHI! is scheduled for release on July 9th, 2025 - the 10th anniversary of the Gakkou Gurashi! anime.
"'Protector//Vector' is the debut track of my new side project iyashicore, dedicated to various media that inspired me.
From the upcoming concept album 'GURASHI!', all about the anime and manga series Gakkou Gurashi, 'Protector//Vector' is about the character Kurumi, stalwart defender of her friends.
I'm incredibly proud of this track and the album, as it is the first time I tackled songwriting alone start to finish.
This is only the beginning."
